Its that time again, its time for my annual Best Of post. It's been an absolutely cracking year with lots of highs, my daughter turned 10! where did that time go, my son won an art comp at school of which he and we were very proud. My business continued to flourish with lots of wonderful weddings with lots of super friendly couple and guests. As a family, we started Surf Life Saving. I attended NineDots for the first time, caught up with some old friends and made lots of new ones amongst the tog community. And of course, as is the path of life a few lows, torn ankle ligaments the day before a wedding being one of them, thanks to Antony for stepping into the breach to help.
I'm not going to go on about how much I love my clients, you know I do guys and its a pleasure to shoot each and every wedding. And I know its cliche, but I really do love my job, being a Devon Wedding Photographer allows me to meet amazing people from all over the globe, freeze time and give my couples great photos.
2019 was also the year that I ventured to London to the NineDots Gathering. A meeting of 150 like-minded Wedding Togs. There I learnt a whole heap of stuff and caught up with some friends namely Lanny & Erika Mann and the ever wonderful Marta May. My mind was blown at points and tapping into the 9D community has been invaluable.
I also visited a couple of new venues this year Shaprham House and The Horn Of Plenty being two, Hallsannery and Tawstock Court being another two, and it's always a pleasure as ever to shoot at The Venue at Sandy Cove and the Ash Barton Estate.
So, that's it, Decade over and into the 2020's, I can't wait to see it will bring for me and my business and I'm looking forward to get cracking, meet all my clients again and their families, first one in 20 days. Let the fun begin. If you want to have a look at the photos included you can see a selection here, enjoy!
