The ceremony was beautiful and moving at Pilton Church, Anna walking down the aisle clutching her Dad's arm with a huge smile on her face. During the ceremony I think Anna forgot where she was or thought she was some kind a celebrity as she kept waving to the guests, that was a first. Well, I suppose she was really, it was her wedding after all.
I shot Anna's brothers wedding a few years ago at Highbullen, its where we first met. I always love it when I meet the families again, a few years down the line and hear about how evreyone is getting on. James and Rachel were soon to be parents, and now they are.
There were some truly wonderful moments and some more firsts, not just the bride waving to the congregation throughout the ceremony. Paul, the Groom and his band set up in the hallway, played, and they were brilliant!! and the blue hour photo I got of them, one of my favs so far this year, see it at the bottom of this post, and many more.
Anna & Paul, thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful celebration and trusting me with your memories. It was an honour to document this day for you and your families.
A special thank you to Laura and her team for looking after me on the day and I look forward to my next adventure at Tawstock Court next year, Mike.
