"We just wanted to say a big thank you for our wedding photos. The best bit is they take you back to a moment, and when the day is done we have something to reminisce on forever. I’m sure we will look at them a thousand times to come in the future. You captured so many special parts in the day brilliantly"
Loren & Darren's Wedding will stay with me forever, for many reasons, one of them in particular. They chose the wonderful Sandy Cove for their wedding, the addition of their new Venue is brilliant and the views are just amazing along the Exmoor coastline.
It was a beautiful September day and I started with Loren and her Mum & Dad getting into their finery, shooting all the goings on and doing my usual little bit of help with ties and buttonholes, I think I need to do some blog posts on how to do these things :) With Anna working her usual brilliance with her brushes I set about photographing all of the little details and moments that were happening around me.
They were married outside in the Gazebo overlooking the Bristol Channel, emotions running high with a few tears from both parties. After a glass of bubbly to relax and a few photos we all headed up to the Venue for the wedding breakfast and speeches. It was at this point a moment I will never forget happened, I wont go into detail but lets just say that everyone is ok and after being checked out the brilliant Paramedics, Grandad was ok. He even wanted to come back to the party, what a legend!
After the excitiement, if you can call it that, of the afternoon the party continued with smiles all round and plenty of dancing, and well kissing Darren not from his new wife but from his mates! This was a day I will never forget, congratulations Loren & Darren on your fantastic day, give Grandad my best, Mike.
