"Mike was like a ninja on the day and always around to capture those special moments. He fit in so well he even enjoyed a cheeky tequila with us at the end of his night! Thankyou so much for capturing some beautiful moments, we can't wait to bore our friends and family with them :)" Cat & Gaz
Cat & Gaz were married in Spring at Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, here on the North Devon Coast. The guys had come down from Bristol for their big day and I'd met them a few times before, once for their pre wedding photoshoot around Ilfracombe and in the harbour area near Damian Hirst's Verity statue. I started early on their day meeting Gaz and his mates at Tunnels as they had decided to go for a swim, the loonies! I was joined by James of Devon Skyline who stayed until after the ceremony to shoot the action using his drone. It was all hands on deck for the prep with both ushers and bridesmaids chipping in to get the venue ready.
They married outside and we were treated to a dry day with a little sparkle of sunshine. The crowd were all so happy and enjoying themselves overlooking the beach it really was an amazing day. Speeches on the new roof terrace and then everyone enjoyed the BBQ and ever brilliant food that is served at Tunnels. It was clear to see that Cat & Gaz were surrounded by some great friends and it made it even more special. After sundown The Wedding Spinner appeared to bang out some tunes for the evening party and it was certainly that, a party. I love this part of the day when everyone lets their hair down. There was so much fun and laughter, it was brill to be part of it and yes I had a cheeky Tequila before departing. Congrats guys, Mike.
