I was privileged to photograph Kyrie and Ben's wedding in Ilfracombe in the Autumn. One of my favourite photos of the day was when I was photographing Kyrie getting ready, all the girls were giving me weird looks whilst I balanced on a chair pointing my camera through a chandalier, you can see the shot below. Bridal Prep gives me an opportunity to get to know the bridal party a bit more and gives lots of opportunity for storytelling as Kyrie and her ladies were having her hair and makeup finished. The ceremony celebrated at the Parish Church was fantastic, the photographs I took of it definitely have a "love is in the air" vibe to them. As the newlyweds exited the church some of Ben's fellow Ilfracombe RNLI members had come along to support him and give him and Kyrie a guard of honour, Devon Style.
The reception was a success and everyone had a smile on their face. There was a joyful vibe during the reception. So many moments were caught. Kyrie and Ben wanted their guest to do the speeches before the breakfast so everyone could enjoy their meal without worrying about them. Every speech is unique and I never get bored of photographing or listening to them. At the end of the day, Kyrie and Ben rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of her brothers band. All in all I had a blast at Kyrie and Ben's wedding and I won't forget that one in a long time.
