In August I visited Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe to shoot the wedding of Carrie & Dan. As is usual with Tunnels the couple had gone to great lenghts to make the venue their own, with lots of little details and finishing touches. I was hoping for a dry day, very unusual during the school holidays but I had my fingers crossed. So with Dan's sister watching the whole event live from New Zealand via Skype and bestman Cameron holding the laptop, the ceremony and photos proceded outside and on the beach. One of the great things about Tunnels is that it still looks awesome in the rain, which held off until late afternoon, just as we were about to do the confetti. So we all, yes me too, were covered in confetti, all stuck to our dampened faces and spams. With the meal and speeches done, two of the couples friends sang a beautiful duet which induced a few tears and lots of smiles, to follow, the first dance, a masterpiece of timing and footwork according to Dan.
