Wedding photography at Castle Hill, wow, what a great way to start the 2015 wedding season! The Bride, bridesmaids and MOTB are normally the focus of the make up and hair for the start of the day but even dad needed a trim before the off, fortunately for him Laura has her own hair salon in North Molton and so was on hand with the scissors. After prep I dashed off to North Molton Church for the ceremony to await Laura's arrival and catch up with Alex, the groom, and his bestman and ushers. There were a few guests I have met and had the pleasure of photographing before, namely Marie Worby, who is a former bride of mine, I photographed her wedding, I wasnt married to her :) Sorry Dan. Laura looked stunning in her dress and the flowers in church and the bouquets were amazing, decorated with feathers, all round good job ladies. Once we all arrived at Castle Hill we had the honor of being allowed into the main house itself, never before had a B&G been in for photos, thanks to Lady Arran for this treat. Despite the constant drizzle all day, everyone was upbeat, mostly due to half of them being farmers and hardy country folk, good on you guys! Later in the day Laura borrowed my coat for a stroll through the chilly evening to do some photos of just the two of them before the arrival of the evening guests. I left at about 9.30 but I have heard that the party were 350 strong and had a great time, Lady Arran even mentioned the shingdig on her personal blog! Thanks to Ryan Hallett for his video work and congratulations to Laura & Alex.
