Kathryn came to me for her wedding photography after recommendation from a work colleague, its always nice to be recommended. After our initial chat I was delighted to hear Kat & Rob were having their wedding breakfast and reception at Pickwell Manor
, a favourite of mine, I got married there myself :)
The day started at Pickwell with hair and make up provided by Hannah of Brighteye Beauty
. The details were amazing, homemade jam, a stunning dress from Frilly Frocks
, Sunflower Bouquets from Offshore Blooms
, Crown Joules
pants (Rob is a Mr Joules) Tour de France inspired socks and beach named tables all added up to a fantastic day with the couple tying the knot at St Brannocks Church in Braunton before heading back to Pickwell. They had hired a classic Triumph from Pete, the owner of the British Surf Museum
in Braunton, to transport them the few miles back to Georgham with a stop overlooking Saunton Beach.
After dinner most of the guests headed to Putsborough beach for a game of cricket before it got too cold, well it got a bit fresh my trigger finger nearly froze, but not before a good few overs had been bowled, Rob had been caught out and Kathryn nearly had her head taken off by a firmly struck low flying cricket ball!
In all a fantastic wedding, a great couple and I have been booked to do the wedding photography at Rob's sisters wedding too in Sussex next summer.
