This was to be my last wedding at Pickwell Manor, as they are stopping weddings at the end of this year. I have always loved photographing weddings there, Karley and I got married there 10 years ago this year, congrats to us :) Happy Tin Anniversary, Tin, Tin! Easy pressie this year, Baked Beans it is :)
The summer sunshine was ever present for this beautiful wedding. Lots of hard work had gone into to the day with lots of fine details, engineering, we'll get to that in a moment, and blooming blossoms from Sophie at the Earth Gallery in Exeter.
David's Dad, John, had been working on his old Wolseley for months getting it ready for the wedding. This car used to belong to John's Grandfather so its a family heirloom. The car made it from South Molton to Pickwell but on Saturday am it decided it didnt want to play, hence the arrival of the AA. Sadly it wasnt to be after all John's hard work, we did get some great pics with the car though.
This was another fab wedding in North Devon, with lovely weather a stunning venue, beautiful Bride and not too bad looking Groom ;) it all adds up to a great day.
Its a sad day, I'll never again post a blog from a wedding at Pickwell Manor, fingers crossed, one day they will start hosting them again. Congrats Mr & Mrs Dodds.
