It still surprises me how many people have never had a professional photo of themselves or their family. When I first met Rachel & James to discuss their wedding photos they mentioned that after 11 years together they still did not have a single photo of them together in the house. Thats where I step in, to fix that. Its my job to create lasting memories for my clients and I relish the opportunity.
Although it was a bit soggy and fairly fresh outside on the morning of their wedding day, Rachel & James were in high spirits and very excited for the coming day. No matter what the weather it still possible to get great photos, especially when you've photographed over 100 weddings, like me, nothing beats experience. We, we meaning British wedding photographers, get lots of wet experience due to our lovely summers :)
Rachel and her four bridesmaids got ready at High Bullen and I met up with James and his groomsen when they all arrived to sort out the last few bits at the Palazzo. What followed was a wonderful day of laughter and love, a pleasure to witness and photograph.
The High Bullen Hotel is a great place with lots of good locations for photos no matter what the weather and I got some truly great photos this day, if I do say so myself. The group photos weren't even a problem as the new Palazzo is so big I shot the whole group of 145 guests on the dancefloor. A highly recommended venue and Wayne, the events guy, was very helpful and kept everything on track, even doubling up as the wedding toast master, good job everyone, a great day.
