This was, as usual, a very happy day with a very happy, if nervous, B&G. Elle & Grant are so warm and friendly, it felt like I had known them for years. They chose North Devon for their wedding coming all the way from East Sussex to get married at Saunton. Grant's Grandfather was one of the Foremen when the Saunton Sands Hotel was orginally built and he'd brought along his old penknife as a momento, so the hotel has special meaning not just being a great place to get married. The day started at the hotel with beautiful blue skies and the prep with Elle and her ladies having thier make up done by the talented Hannah of Brighteye Beauty, Hannah even made a fort of pillows for Elle to hide in when it was getting a bit hectic and she needed to hide. The lengths us pro's go to to have happy clients :) Elle looked amazing in her dress and Grant had even trimmed his beard for the day. I have to say that I love my job and my clients and every wedding that I photograph, there are occaisionally days that will stay with me for a very long time. Its days like this one that make me want to do it over and over again. If you or someone you know is getting married at Saunton please get in touch.
